Cop Finds Body In Adrian Park

ADRIAN (WWJ) – A man’s body has been discovered at an Adrian park.

An Adrian police officer spotted the man in Trestle Park  Thursday morning — and first thought he was sleeping. As the officer approached to check on the man, it became obvious that he was dead.

Police have identified the man as a 56-year old Adrian resident, but did not release his name. They said his family members have been notified.

Investigators said there was no evidence of foul play. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Adrian is in Lenawee County, about 70 miles southwest of Detroit.
