Michigan Women's Foundation Offering $15,000 Business Plan Prizes

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Michigan Women's Foundation is offering three $15,000 prizes to women entrepreneurs in their Entrepreneur You Business Plan Competition.

It's the second year for the program.

The deadline for registrations is Wednesday, July 31.

Finalists will be announced -- and matched with professional business coaches -- by mid-August. The prizes will be awarded in a pitch event Sept. 24.

Entrants may submit a business plan for three different kinds of enterprises:
* Women-owned or -led high growth businesses
* Lifestyle businesses
* Social enterprises

A $15,000 prize will be awarded in all three categories.
