IPS Wins New Application Development Contract for Veteran-Owned Business: Troy-based IPS Technology Services LLC recently won a new application development contract for a veteran owned business in metro Detroit. The client, which provides staffing solutions in the areas of administrative and light industrial work, is now branching out to do background check to expand their portfolio of service and thus trying to become a "one stop shop" for all of their clients' hiring needs. In order to process background checks efficiently, the client turned to IPS Technology Services to help them streamline their candidate screening and reporting processes. Under this contract, IPS will develop a web-based enterprise application to help the client keep track of their background check procedure. Once screened by the recruiters, the candidate for background check will provide required information to be processed. The background check clerk will be notified by the application for further actions. Once the background check is complete, results will be posted and can be viewed by the candidate or the HR department on the web.  The application will also collect fees and generate an adequate number of reports to keep track of all requests -- speeding along the entire decision-making process.
