DETROIT (CBS DETROIT) - The Big Ten announced its Players to Watch list, and three of the five players in the Legends Division come from Michigan or Michigan State.

Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner, Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan and Michigan State linebacker Max Bullough all made the cut.

A five-star prospect and the fifth-ranked quarterback nationally coming out of high school in Detroit, Gardner got hardly any playing time at quarterback until Denard Robinson went down with an injury against Nebraska last season.. After the Wolverines switched him from wide receiver to quarterback last season, Gardner played in five games, throwing for 1,219 yards, 11 touchdowns and five interceptions.

Lewan was an All-American in 2012 and made his 28th straight start in Michigan's 2012 bowl game.

Bullough, a native of Traverse City, Mich., will be in his third season as the starting middle linebacker for the Spartans. He has record 223 tackles in 40 career games. He has started 27 in a row for Michigan State.
