FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) — RouteOne LLC and National Credit Center announced that they will integrate to offer identity verification and authentication services to help auto dealers streamline and improve their compliance efforts.
These services will be delivered through its IDOne product.
Said Mike Jurecki, RouteOne CEO: “We are committed to helping our customers minimize fraud risk and effectively meet the growing list of compliance requirements they face as an integral part of our credit application and dealership solutions. Our partnership with NCC builds on that commitment to assist dealers in protecting their customers and financing business.”
Dealers using the service will be able to verify applicant information across multiple data sources simultaneously with one simple mouse-click, including an OFAC check. If an alert is identified, dealers can then quickly administer an “out-of-wallet” risk-based quiz conveniently from the same system as another method to confirm identity. The system enables dealers to move through the process efficiently to either confidently close the sale or determine the risk is too great.
Said Ken Suprenant, NCC general manager and vice president: “Identity fraud is the fastest growing crime in the U.S., and auto dealerships are being targeted more than other businesses for their high-dollar transactions. IDOne is a revolutionary product that fits perfectly within our comprehensive suite of credit and compliance services.”
In addition to verification, IDOne provides an audit trail to ensure compliance, and works seamlessly with RouteOne’s credit application system to eliminate duplicate data entry and the potential for error. The service is backed by RouteOne’s Help Desk and field staff to ensure support is there when it is needed most.
No long-term contracts are required for the service, and dealers may select from a subscription- based or transaction-based pricing model that best fits their dealership. Dealers interested in subscribing may sign up directly through the RouteOne platform, or they may contact the RouteOne Help Desk at (866) 768-8301, ext. 4 for additional assistance.
RouteOne was formed in 2002 by Ally Financial (then General Motors Acceptance Corp.), Ford Motor Credit Co., TD Auto Finance (then Chrysler Financial), and Toyota Financial Services to create a more streamlined credit application for auto dealers and car buyers. Providing access to more than 19,000 dealers in North America, RouteOne’s web-based system allows automotive dealers to submit credit applications to the largest indirect lenders, request credit reports, and increase profitability with RouteOne’s free Dealer Reporting Suite. RouteOne’s open integration business model also allows the dealer to integrate with their choice of a wide variety of best in class providers, including DSPs, CRM systems, F&I modules and menu providers.
