Vision Computer Solutions To Offer Online Security Tips At Local Event: Vision Computer Solutions will host a free event to promote safe technology habits to local area business owners. The Cyber Security Lunch-N-Learn event will take place at Genitti's Hole-in-the-Wall in Northville on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All attendees will receive a free lunch and have the opportunity to win a Kindle Fire. Vision Computer Solutions' vice president of consulting, Peter Marsack, will give a detailed presentation on the potential dangers found in cyber space, including threats to businesses and families. Attendees will learn how hackers and cyber-criminals can access important information and why small businesses, families and even children are vulnerable targets. All attendees will leave with actionable tips and suggestions from Vision's Michigan computer consulting team to better protect their business information and personal data. Guests are invited to participate in a question and answer session immediately following the presentation. Comcast To Unveil Rochester Hills Xfinity Customer Center: Comcast will host a special reception and ribbon-cutting event to announce the grand opening of its all-new Xfinity Customer Center in Rochester Hills. The 3,305-square-foot center is designed entirely around the needs of customers and provides consumers with an opportunity to explore, learn about, and interact directly with the latest Xfinity products and services. The event will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, with a program at 9 a.m., at the new center, at 66 N. Adams Road in Rochester Hills in The Village of Rochester Hills Shopping Center.
