AUBURN HILLS, Mich. ¬– The Detroit Pistons announced today the details of four exciting 10-game plans that are now on-sale for the 2013-14 NBA season. As a bonus for purchasing any 10-game package – fans will also secure tickets for opening night vs. Washington on October 30 and preseason tickets against the NBA Champion Miami HEAT on October 10.
The Pistons enter the season with new head coach Maurice Cheeks and a roster featuring seven new players including summer acquisitions Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings, Luigi Datome, Josh Harrellson and draft picks Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tony Mitchell and Peyton Siva. Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe anchor a core group of players that also includes NBA All-Star and former 2004 NBA Finals MVP Chauncey Billups.
“Our 10-game packages provide fans the ability to experience great basketball match-ups, game-day festivities and entertainment with unique flexibility and scheduling convenience,” said Dennis Mannion, CEO of Palace Sports & Entertainment and the Detroit Pistons. “These plans, in addition to our compelling line-up of promotional nights, make The Palace of Auburn Hills a great destination to entertain friends, family and clients throughout the upcoming NBA season.”
Plan A features match-ups against nine playoff teams from a year ago and showcases some of the leagues brightest stars including Brooklyn’s Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Deron Williams, Houston’s Dwight Howard and James Harden, LA Clippers’ Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, San Antonio’s Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, New York’s Carmelo Anthony and Miami’s LeBron James.
Plan B and Plan C packages feature weekend match-ups with the majority of those games falling on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Marquee opponents in those packages include the NBA Champion Miami HEAT, Eastern Conference Finalist Indiana Pacers, Central Division rival Chicago Bulls and the Dallas Mavericks. Plan D features weekday games and provides unique opportunities to entertain clients or break up the work-week monotony with family and friends.
In addition to receiving seats for the club’s home opener, 10-game plan ticket purchasers will save over single-game pricing, have the first opportunity to secure tickets to highly anticipated games against the NBA Champion Miami HEAT and the Los Angeles Lakers, obtain access to preferred seat locations before individual game tickets go on-sale and receive priority on playoff seats.
