The Geico gecko might have been the insurance company’s super star over the last few years, but the new hotness is their office camel who is excited about “hump day”. You can’t log onto Facebook on a Wednesday without somebody reposting the spot.
Hats off to the Dallas Mavericks for riding this wave and replacing the camel with Dirk Nowitzki in an ad to promote season ticket sales. Instead of being excited about Wednesdays, Nowitzki is excited about game day. The Mavericks have the parody down pat, including exasperated co-workers and one overly excited Dirk.
