Divers Recover The Body Of Swimmer Lost In Wolverine Lake
COMMERCE TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Department divers Saturday recovered the body of a man who disappeared in the waters of Wolverine Lake.
Rescue crews were sent to the lake in Commerce Township around 4:30 p.m. Friday after boaters noticed a man calling for help. By the time they arrived on the scene, the man had already disappeared into the water.
The search was later suspended because of stormy weather.
The victim is believed to be a 62-year-old man from the metro Detroit area.
