Tattooed Miss America Contestant Theresa Vail -- Hot Or Not?

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) A far cry from the sweater twin sets and high rise briefs normally associated with Miss America, contestant Theresa Vail made waves in a tiny red bikini during the preliminary round of the pageant Wednesday.

It wasn't just a tanned torso, acres of toned leg and impressive cleavage on display. She also showed ink, lots of it, for the first time during the Miss America pageant.

So, what do you think, does it ruin Miss America's prim and proper, girl-you-want-to teach-bad-things-to-image -- or is it sexier to be "bad"? It's the age-old debate -- what's sexier: teacher in glasses and a demure skirt or chick putting it all out there in a pair of Daisy Dukes on a motorcycle?

See the tattoo in all its glory HERE and decide for yourself.

It appears to be The Serenity Prayer written in its entirety in Old English script down the entire side of her tanned torso.

It's certainly not shy ink, but one mystery remains about Vail: How will she bring about world peace?
