Serial Killer Lurking In Detroit? Third Man Found Shot To Death In Street

DETROIT (WWJ) - Could a serial killer be responsible for the shooting deaths of three men whose bodies were found in Detroit streets?

For the third time in as many days, a man was found shot and left for dead in the street.

The latest discovery was made early Wednesday morning on Findlay Street, between Connor Street and Gratiot Avenue on the city's east side. Police say the man was shot to death.

No other details on the investigation were released and police told WWJ that they can't yet say whether the latest death is connected to two similar murders over the past couple of days.

On Monday, a man died after he was shot multiple times and left in the street at Evergreen Avenue just south of Warren Avenue on the city's west side.

The next morning a man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near the intersection of Wade and Dickerson streets on the east side. The man was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died.
