Bikers Take Road Rage To A Whole New Level In New York

By: Sara

An extreme road rage episode involving an SUV and a group of bikers was captured on video this weekend. The whole event looked like a crazy scene out of a video game and was uploaded to YouTube on Monday (the footage appears to come from a biker helmet cam).

It all started when a man driving his Range Rover with his wife and 2-year-old daughter got into an accident and clipped a biker who had swerved and slowed down. The rider was part of a group traveling to Times Square and he ended up with a broken leg. The driver pulled over and was immediately surrounded by the bikers. The man in the SUV said the bikers spiked his tires and tried to hit his car after he pulled over. The driver feared for his family's safety and took off. But in the process of speeding away, the SUV hit three more bikers.

Enraged by several of their members being hit, the gang, called "Hollywood Stuntz", chased the SUV until they reached heavy traffic. Once the SUV couldn't move, the bikers surrounded the car again and two riders smashed the windows out with their helmets. The SUV driver was then beaten and later treated and released from the hospital. He suffered slashes to his face and chest and had two black eyes. The assault with the window smashing is shown at 6:14, and shortly after, the video cuts off.

Police reviewed the footage and have made one arrest in the case so far. A biker named Christopher Cruz was charged with reckless endangerment, reckless menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child.
