Mind Games

I have a very nice treadmill at home.

I have been very reluctant to get on it and MOVE.

At Weight Watchers, Florine Mark suggests that when you don’t feel like working out on the treadmill, just put on  your work- out clothing  and tell yourself you’re only going to go  STAND on the treadmill.

She says once you go there and STAND on the treadmill, you WILL turn it on.

I have to go and stand there, and turn it on.

Especially after seeing TV news coverage last night of Boston Marathon amputees learning to walk and run.  I’m sure many of them would give anything to have MY so-called “problems.”

So I’m leaving work today and planning to stand on my treadmill.  I hope it moves me.
