Now 4-2 after a road win in Cleveland, the Detroit Lions made some roster moves Monday. A story on the team's website confirmed the Lions have waived wide receiver Patrick Edwards and signed tight end Dorin Dickerson.
Edwards started off the season fairly well, catching three passes for 30 yards in the team's season opener against Minnesota. Against Arizona, though, Edwards did not catch any passes, and he missed the team's next two games with a high ankle sprain. He caught two passes for 16 yards in the Lions' loss to Green Bay but got nothing again versus Cleveland.
Dickerson, in his third year in the NFL, had nine receptions for 117 yards with Buffalo in 2012. Dickerson announced his new allegiance to the Lions via Twitter.
