Event Notices From Oct. 15

Social Media Club Sets Education Classes: The Social Media Club of Detroit will present "Creating Content That Converts" from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the Macomb-OU INCubator, 6633 18 Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Great social media work is not done without preparation. A lot of trial and error goes into creating content which consistently generates likes and retweets. Traffic and conversion expert, Hubert Sawyers III, will share a system which will help anyone looking to build a responsive audience. In addition, he will provide some tools which can help automate particular tasks. Hubert's talk is not for people looking for the standard "photos get more likes on Facebook" kind of advice. He will be focusing on researching your target audience, learning their language, and how to get your target audience to respond positively in a consistent fashion. Register for this free event via the SMCD EventBrite at smcdedmacombouoctober.eventbrite.com. For more information on the Macomb-OU INCubator, call Joan Carleton (586) 884-9324 or email macINC@oakland.edu.
