Man Arrested After Break-In At Detroit Opera House
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police say one person has been taken into custody after an early morning break-in at the Detroit Opera House.
According to police, the suspect shattered the front glass doors, entered the building and lingered near the restaurant area.
Police say the suspect was arrested a short time later, around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, as he walked down Broadway Street.
It's not clear why the suspect broke into building, but police say they are treating the incident as a robbery.
An investigation is ongoing.
