2 Bodies Found In Dumpster In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating following reports that two bodies were found in a dumpster in an alley near Woodward Avenue and McNichols.

That's off Parkhurst Place — essentially across the street from the upscale Palmer Park neighborhood.

The find, late Friday afternoon, comes just hours after three people were found dead at a home on the city's west side; and just three days after a shooting at a Detroit barber shop made national headlines. Three people died and six others were wounded there, triggering a call by church leaders for an end to deadly violence in the city.

Police talking to WWJ Newsradio 950 on Friday confirmed that human remains were found, but no details were immediately available about the victims or how they died.
