Was Woman Fleeing Gunman During 5-Car Pileup On Telegraph?
DETROIT (WWJ) - A five-car pileup on Telegraph near 6 Mile Road Friday afternoon sends one woman to the hospital with injuries.
Fox 2 News reports the accident appears to have happened after a woman accelerated and drove across a median -- trying to escape two men waving guns at her.
Police say the woman was stopped at a red light when another car pulled up next to her and the men, wearing ski masks, jumped out yelling and waving guns.
The woman is in critical condition -- there were no other injuries.
The two suspects are described as black males -- between 5'8" and 5'11". They may have been driving a white-colored Dodge Charger with the license plate C-J-3-8-K-2.
