New Platform From Covisint

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Covisint Corp. (Nasdaq: COVS), the provider of secure collaboration and communication services, introduced a new version of its Portal Services product.

Covisint said the new release enables enterprises to meet the growing expectations of their key consumers -- customers, business partners, suppliers and employees -- for access to digital information and services whenever they want, wherever they want and on any device they choose.

Some of the specific release enhancements include:
* Faster time-to-value -- to meet the emerging business needs for internal and external collaboration without the cost, complexity and timescales associated with internally developed portal projects;
* Anywhere, anytime, any device--delivering dynamic, personalized content supporting a wide range of mobile devices without having to configure content or write code;
* Self-service configuration--allowing non-technical users to configure the user interface and manage content, etc., reducing the time and costs associated with traditional IT support resources.

The company also will host a webinar starting with a typical business problem: How to quickly promote the awareness of a product or service on any device -- including smartphones and tablets -- without the cost, complexity and delays of traditional (and increasingly unsustainable) approaches. Within 30 minutes, Covisint will show webinar attendees how using the Covisint platform can deliver branding, layout and look and feel consistent with marketing standards; security and integration compatible with industry standards; searchable, dynamic and personalized content leveraging existing content management systems; and a compelling user experience on any common device, including phones, tablets or computers

The webinar will take place Thursday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. Register at http://offers.covisint.com/Portal_10-2_Launch.htmlCovisint.
