Health Officials Say It’s Not Too Late For Flu Vaccine

DETROIT (WWJ) – The official start of winter still days away, but the flu season is well underway and the Michigan Department of Community Health is reminding everyone to get their flu shot.

The MDCH says a flu vaccine is the single best way to protect against getting the flu.

And with holiday gatherings about to kick into high gear — if you’ve put off getting a flu shot — health officials say now is the perfect time.
