Join WWJ For Lunch As Local Celebs Serve 'Coneys For A Cause'

DETROIT (WWJ) - Make your lunch plans to join WWJ Newsradio 950 for the 3rd annual Celebrity "Coneys for a Cause" to benefit The Heat And Warmth Fund (THAW).

WWJ's Tom Jordan, Charlie Langton, Marie Osborne, Vickie Thomas and other local celebrities will be serving up coneys between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at American Coney Island in downtown Detroit.

A portion from the sales of coneys and coney combos will be donated to THAW, which helps hundreds of metro Detroit families keep the heat and electricity turned on over the brutally cold winter months.

American Coney Island is located at 114 West Lafayette in Detroit. Click here for directions.

Coneys for a Cause is part of the annual WWJ Winter Survival Radiothon For THAW -- which takes place Friday, Feb. 7 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
