National Anthem performances have been criticized for being lip synced, sung poorly — or just bad overall.

Yesterday a band named Madison Rising, which describes itself as “America’s most patriotic rock band,” chose to go a different way with their rendition of the National Anthem before the Daytona 500. Nascar fans are a different breed, in my opinion. The people who attend the races — yes, I know I am stereotyping, but they are patriotic. You will probably see more American flag jackets at the race than you have ever seen before.

Having said that, Madison Rising maybe thought they were catering to their audience… You be the judge for yourself and watch the video below.
