Prisoner Hangs Himself At Wayne County Jail
DETROIT (WWJ) - A prisoner at the Wayne County Jail in downtown Detroit apparently hanged himself inside his cell.
An official told WWJ's Laura Bonnell the incident happened sometime between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Thursday.
The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officials at the jail declined to comment.
