Missing Novi Man Found Safe In Macomb County

NOVI (WWJ) - A Novi man missing since Sunday has been found safe several miles away from his home.

Police say Michael Atisha was found early Tuesday morning in eastern Macomb County.

In filing a missing persons report days earlier, Atisha's parents said their son wasn't taking prescribed medications and worried he could be in medical danger. They thought he might have been headed toward Michigan State University on foot, since he doesn't have a car.

Investigators wouldn't elaborate on Atisha's medical condition, but thanked the public for helping to locate him.
