2 Michigan State Troopers Hospitalized After Crash

FLINT (WWJ/AP) – Two Michigan State Police troopers have been injured after their patrol car was struck by another vehicle while en route to a domestic trouble report.

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Dort Highway and Davison Road in Flint.

According to reports, the patrol car had its emergency lights on when it was hit on the passenger side. Other circumstances surrounding the accident weren’t immediately released.

Both troopers and the driver of the other vehicle are being treated at an area hospital, although their injuries and conditions weren’t immediately disclosed.

The crash remains under investigation.
