Police Say Body Of Missing Michigan Doctor May Have Been Found

DETROIT (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say the body of a woman has been found in a northwestern Indiana lake -- and it could possibly be the remains of a missing Michigan doctor.

Indiana State Police say a fisherman on Lake Charles in the town of Porter reported something suspicious Sunday morning. They say divers helped recover a female body dressed in dark clothing.

Police say an autopsy will be conducted this week to positively identify the body.

Indiana State Police, the FBI and Michigan police searched the same lake earlier this year for Dr. Taleka Patrick of Kalamazoo.

The physician's car was found abandoned by an Indiana trooper back in January near the lake -- about 15 miles east of Gary.
