Jeff Francoeur has been known to have one of the better arms for an outfielder in today’s MLB. Francoeur right now is in Triple-A playing for the San Diego Padres’ affiliate.

Francoeur’s teammates thought it would be hilarious to trick him into thinking that El Paso pitcher Jorge Reyes is deaf (he isn’t.) See what happens as this prank unfolds.

Francoeur is in the video talking about Reyes, and every one of his teammates seems to call Jeff an idiot. Even on his lower third in the video they introduce him as an “idiot.”

The prank is so good it was made into a 7-minute YouTube video named, ‘On Jeff Ears.” Francoeur, a 10-year major league vet, should be used to hijinx by now — but did this one ever get him.
