Spoiler Alert! This post recaps portions of season 7, episode 22 "The Proton Transmogrification."

On this episode of "The Big Bang Theory" the guys start planning for Star Wars day, but things soon come to halt when they learn Sheldon's childhood TV idol, Prof. Proton, passed away. Unexpectedly Sheldon doesn't seem upset about his idol's passing and doesn't even want to go to his funeral because it would interrupt his Star Wars Day.

Leonard and Penny decide to go to the funeral where Leonard starts talking about his regrets in life. He mentions that saying no to Penny when she asked him to marry her was one of his regrets and that he was losing in the proposal poll. At first Penny had no idea what he meant until he explain that he's asked her twice to marry her and she has only asked him once, so it was 2-1. So to make things even Penny asked Leonard to marry her just so he could say no, but instead of  saying no right away Leonard postponed his answer until the end of the show which torched  Penny the whole time.

While Leonard and Penny were at the funeral, Bernadette and Amy bonded while making a Death Star cake for the guys in honor of Star Wars Day. Howard, Raj and Sheldon stayed at the apartment to start watching Star Wars but after a disagreement on which order that they would watch the movies in, Sheldon retreats to his room where he falls asleep and is visited by Prof. Proton. In his dream the two of them discuss how all of the men Sheldon looked up to have now passed, but Prof. Proton reminds him that even though Sheldon has lost people in his life, he should appreciate the people he has in his life now. After that Sheldon wakes up and Leonard is back from the funeral. Leonard asks how he is doing and Sheldon gives him a big hug.

After this show it made me think about the people I appreciate in my life. My mom, dad, sisters and friends are all people who I appreciate. Especially my parents, if it were not for them and all the help and wisdom they have given me I would be where I am at today. Who do you appreciate in your life? Let them know how much you appreciate them and do what Sheldon did, get them a big hug.
