ICYMI: Ausmus, Cabrera, Hunter And Martinez Talks About Cabrera’s 9th Inning HR [VIDEO]

By: Evan Jankens

In case you missed it Tuesday night, Miguel Cabrera went all Miguel Cabrera.

Top of the ninth inning, the Tigers trailed 1-0 after Drew Smyly gave up a solo home run to Adam Jones in the first.

To start off the ninth against the Orioles closer Hunter, Alex Avila singled. Rajai Davis pinch ran for Avila and stole second even though he was called out. Brad Ausmus challenged the call which was over turned. Don Kelly lined out to the short stop, Ian Kinsler lined out to the center fielder Adam Jones and that’s when Torii Hunter came to the plate.

Hunter was facing an 0-2 count and managed to work the count full. Torii took ball four and left it up to Miguel Cabrera with two outs.

Watch the video below to see Cabrera’s home run and watch Ausmus and the players who contributed to the ninth inning rally talk about the win.
