Comcast Holds Job Fair For Military Veterans TODAY

PLYMOUTH (WWJ) - If you're a military veteran looking for a job -- you're in luck.

Comcast is hosting a job fair and open house for military veterans at its Plymouth headquarters on Monday, May 19 from 9 a.m. until noon.

Veterans will be able to apply for 240 open positions in Michigan, with an emphasis on filling roles for direct sales representatives, sales consultants and customer service opportunities. Veterans can also learn about career opportunities at the company and chances for advancement.

"Comcast has hired a number of talented veterans over the last couple of years, and we are committed to continuing to support of our veterans by hiring more to fill some of the positions currently open in the region," said Tim Collins, senior vice president for Comcast in Michigan, said in a statement. "With robust and diverse skillsets, veterans have the kind of experience Comcast values, ranging from strong leadership skills to extensive experience laying cable and working with technology."

Comcast Headquarters is located at 41112 Concept Drive in Plymouth.
