Police Arrest Suspect In Sex Assault Of 52-Year-Old Woman In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the assault of a 52-year-old woman.
The incident happened on Santa Maria Street, near the Lodge and West McNichols.
Tuesday afternoon police told WWJ that Marcellus Hill was arrested in the area of Manor and McNichols.
According to Detroit Police spokesman Adam Madera, the man broke into the woman's home and sexually assaulted her.
"A physical assault pursued after that," Madera said. "I guess they made their way into the hallway where a neighbor — it's an apartment building — a neighbor opened the door, saw them fighting, and the guy took off running once he saw the neighbor open the door."
