Tigers And Cubs Align To #PickRick And #VoteRizzo For The 2014 ASG Final Vote

DETROIT AND CHICAGO- The Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs announced today a special partnership encouraging fans to vote to #PickRick and #VoteRizzo for Tigers pitcher Rick Porcello and Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo for the 2014 MLB All-Star Game Final Vote, presented by Experian.com

Fans can vote for Porcello and Rizzo online at www.tigers.com/vote or www.cubs.com/vote, or text “A3” for Porcello and “N4” for Rizzo to 89269 in the United States. Standard message and data rates may apply. Mobile voting is also available in Canada by texting the player codes to 101010. Fans have until 4 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday, July 10 to vote. There is NO LIMIT to the number of times fans may vote in All-Star Game Final Vote. The winners will be chosen exclusively by fan voting totals.

Any Tigers fan that votes for Porcello will have the opportunity to get $10 off an upper box ticket for select home games in 2014

In addition, fans who #PickRick and follow the Tigers on Twitter (@tigers) and Instagram (@tigers) will have the opportunity to win special prizes including game tickets, autographed memorabilia and unique game experiences.

Rick Porcello is 11-4 with a 3.12 ERA (106.2IP/37ER) and 62 strikeouts in 16 starts for the Tigers entering tonight’s game. Porcello has won 10 games in each of his first six seasons with the Tigers prior to turning 26
