Woman Found Near Hospital With Stab Wound Dies
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police say a woman found inside a Detroit apartment complex with an apparent stab wound has died from her injuries.
The 47-year-old woman was unresponsive when she was discovered early Wednesday morning at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Seward, just north of Henry Ford Hospital along the Lodge Freeway.
Police say the woman had a "deep puncture wound" and was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities are still investigating the incident and say they're not quite sure of a motive or who the suspect is.
The woman's name was not released.
