Learning to speak English and trying to do interviews as a Japanese baseball player has to be tough.

Toronto Blue Jay's infielder Munenori Kawasaki has played 32 games this season and he's different than most foreign players in that he will grant an interview and boy, are they sometimes unintentionally hilarious.

In a video published on YouTube July 23, 2014, Kawasaki has quite the sense of humor when he's asked to discuss a much-publicized hug from oversized David Ortiz.

When asked how it felt to pitch against the Boston Red Sox's David Ortiz his response was about as good as it gets. "He's big, Kawa small," he said, repeating that five times before the person doing the interview said, "OK, we got it."

Kawasaki goes on to say how much he loves Toronto and the Blue Jays and follows that up with the fact he "loves Michael Jordan." He then, politely, asks to make sure the person doing the interview knows who Michael Jordan is.

I've got to give him credit, though. God help me if someone started interviewing me in Japanese. I would only know the words "Michael Jordan" too.
