Jimmy Fallon did a wonderful tribute to Robin Williams on “The Tonight Show” Tuesday night. Fallon was immediately choked up and almost couldn’t get through his first few sentences. Jimmy told the audience, “Before we get into the show: We, like all of you, were shaken up a bit last night, when we learned that genius comedian/actor Robin Williams passed away. He was one of a kind – he was one in a million.”

Fallon then threw to a clip of Williams’ first appearance on the “The Tonight Show” when Johnny Carson was still the host. It showcased Robin’s ability to take over a show and to improv with an audience. Fallon ended his tribute by standing on his desk and reciting the Walt Whitman “Oh Captain, My Captain!” line made famous in “Dead Poet’s Society”.
