Tigers Announce Their Rotation For The ALDS; Scherzer Starts Game 1

All season long it seemed like Tigers fans were ready to name their postseason rotation.

And now it's real! Tuesday afternoon, the Tigers announced who their postseason rotation would be. How got it right, you or the coach?

Starting game one of the ALDS in Baltimore is last year's Cy Young award winner Max Scherzer. For the season Scherzer had a 18-5 record with 3.15 ERA. Scherzer struck out 252 while only walking 63. Scherzer's WHIP on the season is 1.175.

Game two starter is Justin Verlander. Verlander has been really good in road starts in his playoff career. Verlander finished the season with 15-12 record with a 4.54 ERA which is his second highest ERA for a season only behind 2008 which he held a 4.84 ERA (Verlander's ERA was 7.15 but only pitched in two games).

Game three starter is game 162 winner David Price. This pans out well for the Tigers starting Price at home in game three. Price could end up being the savior once again if the Tigers happen to be down 0-2 to the Baltimore Orioles. Price finished the 2014 season with a 15-12 record (combined with the Tigers and Rays) a 3.26 ERA and led the American League in strike outs with 271.

Starting game four for the Tigers will be Rick Porcello if necessary. Porcello arguably had his best season as a Tigers. Porcello had a 15-13 record and a 3.43 ERA and a WHIP of 1.231.

Do you agree with the starting rotation for the ALDS?
