Canton Man Charged With Abusing 2-Month-Old Daughter

CANTON (WWJ) - A Canton man has been charged in connection with injuries to his 2-month-old daughter .

Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Vincent Joel French II, 33, with two counts of child abuse first degree.

In the early morning hours of  October 12, French brought his two-month old daughter  to a local hospital where she was observed to have a fractured femur and several healing fractured ribs.

It is alleged that French inflicted the injuries on his child.

Child Abuse First Degree carries a maximum  penalty of 20 years in prison.  F

French is expected to be arraigned Friday in 35th District Court in Plymouth.
