FORD FIELD (CBS DETROIT) - When Detroit Lions tight end Joe Fauria hauled in a touchdown catch Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the home crowd roared in approval, undoubtedly anticipating another one of Fauria's famous touchdown dances.

Not surprisingly, he delivered another memorable celebration.

"That wasn't my favorite," quarterback Matthew Stafford said with a laugh.

"We knew they were a heavy two-deep defense down there, and Joe's a big, tall guy, and just gave him a chance to get down the middle of the field," Stafford continued. "He got behind everybody and was just kind of posted up in the back of the end zone. Threw a ball, he made a great catch, and whatever he did after that, he did after that."

Like Stafford, many on Twitter found Fauria's touchdown twerk less than impressive.

On the other hand, some folks approved.

Fauria's touchdown against Tampa Bay was his first of the season. Because of an ankle injury, Fauria has played in just seven games this season.

"Being out for so long, you wonder how you're perceived," Fauria said after the game. "When you're able to show your team that you're going to push through and help out and win, you get that respect that you've been trying to earn for a while. I'm something I'm going to have to get better at. It's character-building, but I'm just glad I got to help my team."
