Even though the most important college football bowl games had already been announced, the Central Michigan Chippewas celebrated their bowl bid like they were going to the National Championship.
Sporting News posted a story Monday showing two videos of the team watching a video which slowly eliminated the logos for six different bowl games until only the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field and the Popeye's Bahamas Bowl remained.
You can only imagine why they were so happy to be spending time in the Bahamas instead of Detroit in late December.
The 7-5 Chippewas will play the 7-5 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in the Popeye's Bahamas Bowl on Dec. 24.
