Detroiter To Appear As 'Worst Dater' On Steve Harvey Show Wednesday

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) It's safe to say Patrice Gray, 30, of Detroit, believes she's been through the wringer in her quest for true love.
A health care professional with a sweet laugh and high expectations, Gray once dated a man she later found out was wanted by police.
Another tried to sell her life insurance during what was supposed to be a romantic meal. He said he needed her help to meet his quota.
She's been serially single for 10 years and her sister, Dana Bullock of Romulus, had had enough.
"She just said I had terrible luck when it comes to dating," the never-married Gray said.
Bullock places the fault squarely on her "picky" sister, saying her turnover rate is about two weeks. Nothing tends to last longer than that.
Bullock told Steve Harvey she doesn't even set her sister up on dates anymore, because Gray tends to find something wrong with every single man.
Bullock entered Gray into a Steve Harvey Show promotion to find the worst daters in the country. Gray will appear as Michigan's worst dater on The Steve Harvey Show airing locally at 3 p.m. Wednesday on CBS 62.
It's Harvey's "fresh start" week.
And Gray is certainly ready for a fresh start.
She started a new job Monday and she's open for love. Not a fan of online dating, she hopes to meet someone more organically, through friends, just out and about, or business networking.
As for what happens on the show, she said viewers should look forward to her getting some great tips for jump starting her love life.
"He (Steve Harvey) gave me some really great advice and I look forward to using it in 2015," Gray said.
