Lions Announce Futures Contracts For Ness, Proctor, Others

CBS DETROIT - The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday they have signed 11 players to futures deals. Most of those signed played on Detroit's practice squad this season.
That group included wide receivers Skye Dawson and Andrew Peacock, linebacker Jerrell Harris, fullback Emil Igwenagu, defensive back Nate Ness, defensive tackles Roy Philon and Xavier Proctor, and tight end Jordan Thompson.
Others who received futures deals from the Lions include centers Taylor Boggs and Braxston Cave and defensive tackle Kerry Hyder.
