12-Year-Old Looking For NFL Team To Root For Gets Free Stuff, Decides It Isn't Good Enough [VIDEO]

Sometimes people are flat-out ungrateful.

I have no idea why he got under my skin so much, but the attitude of this 12-year-old from Oklahoma really bothers me.

Cade Pope is a sixth grader and said he wants an NFL team to root for since he doesn't have one in Oklahoma. Cade had the great idea to write all 32 NFL teams to ask them essentially why he should root for them.

Two week passed and he received one letter back, which was from the Carolina Panthers.

This is where I really start to get bothered. First off, it's only been two weeks. He has to be patient. I once waited over a year to receive something in the mail from Jerry Rice. And guess what? I appreciated it more than anything I had ever gotten at that age.

Not only did Cade get a letter back from the Panthers, which just so happened to be written by their owner, but they also sent a replica helmet that was signed by Luke Kuechly.

Here is where I boiled over...In this one little quote that ends the video the kid says, "If this is the only team that responds to me, I'm a Carolina Panthers fan."

Um, let me get this straight. You asked why you should become a fan of the team, the owner responds personally and you have the nerve to say if others respond you would still consider them?

This isn't a recruiting trip...

Maybe I'm just harsh, but seriously this kid is so lucky and he doesn't seem to understand it. I think his parents might have something to do with this? I think most parents would have sat him down at the computer to write a thank-you note, not told him to keep scouting for the best loot.
