Red Wings Call Up Ouellet, Gustavsson From Grand Rapids

DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Red Wings have recalled defenseman Xavier Ouellet from Grand Rapids of the AHL and recalled goalie Jonas Gustavsson from his conditioning loan with the Griffins.

The Red Wings also assigned goalie Tom McCollum to Grand Rapids.

Detroit announced the moves Wednesday.

Gustavsson hasn't played for the Red Wings since injuring his shoulder Nov. 5. Detroit has also been without starting goalie Jimmy Howard, who injured his groin last month.
