Elderly Man Charged With Murder After Allegedly Killing Father Of His Great-Grandchildren

MACOMB TWP. (WWJ) A 76-year-old Macomb Township man is charged with second-degree murder after he allegedly killed the father of his great grandchildren.

The prosecutor's office says unfortunately, there were no witnesses in the shooting that took place outside of Donald Miller's home yesterday morning.

According to police, Miller and his granddaughter's boyfriend, identified as 31-year-old Bondaryl McCall, were in the driveway arguing when Miller shot the victim in the back. Everyone else was inside the home.

Miller's granddaughter and her three children had just moved into the home in mid January.

"Miller exited the home when McCall arrived and he was armed with his 9mm handgun in a holster," police said in a press release. "The two men were speaking to each other and at some point, multiple gunshots were heard.  Mr. McCall was struck by the gunshots and died at the scene."
