Michigan Athletics Announces Student Ticketing Information And Pricing For 2015-16 Academic Year
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan Athletic Department announced Monday (Feb. 23) the season ticketing information and pricing for enrolled students during the 2015-16 academic year. This student renewal process for football, men's basketball and ice hockey begins on March 11.
"The athletic department and Central Student Government have worked closely over the past year to create inclusive ticketing policies for students," said David Ablauf, Associate Athletic Director for Public and Media Relations. "Our mutual goal is to have the student body contribute to the game-day atmosphere that helps our teams win and provides excitement for all of our fans. We look forward to continuing this partnership with our students."
"Expanding access to Athletic events for students is one of the greatest accomplishments we have made in our work with Athletics," said Bobby Dishell, CSG President. "This is a big step in the rebuilding of the relationship between Athletics and students. Now, more students than ever before have access to support our fellow students as they represent our school on the court, field, and ice."
The deadline for returning students to request tickets for the three identified sports is March 27. In addition to their game ticket, students will receive a free official season t-shirt with the purchase of the season ticket for each respective sport.
As announced in the fall with Central Student Government, the athletic department will have a needs based ticketing model for students. The athletic department worked with the Office of Financial Aid to provide a more inclusive option for students who meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria. The process for reduced pricing will be communicated to those eligible students by the Office of Financial Aid on Monday, Feb. 23.
Following is the pricing for the three sports and the needs based pricing:

Football $175 $100
Men's Basketball $200 $120
Ice Hockey $150 $90
In addition, currently enrolled students will have the ability to order away game football tickets from April 15-17.
There will be a $10 processing fee applied to the entire order; this is reduced from the previous price of $15 last year.
Students can attend any other Michigan varsity sporting event free of charge with a valid M-Card.
