Jack Miller On Foregoing Final Year Of Football: 'I've Accomplished All My Goals'

CBS DETROIT - Jack Miller, who started all 12 games at center for Michigan last season, has decided to forego his final year of football eligibility, a university spokesman confirmed Thursday.
"He's a guy who's going to graduate this spring and had talked about coming back, considered coming back, and then just decided that he wants to finish his degree and go into the business world," associate athletic director Dave Ablauf said.
Ablauf provided a statement from Miller, who during a difficult season for the Wolverines often served as the voice of the team at media availability sessions.
"This week I made the difficult decision to not return for my fifth year at Michigan," Miller stated. "In short, I've accomplished all my goals, I will graduate with a free education from the best public university in the world, and I've played a lot of football at the highest possible level. It is time to start the next chapter of my life. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity Michigan has given me. Thank you to everyone who has made this dream come true."
In three years of action after redshirting as a freshman, Miller played in 22 games at center and made 16 starts.
