This former Michigan State Spartan and Mumford High School alum is living proof that some professional athletes have a good heart.

Five years ago, William Gholston ran out of gas on the John C. Lodge Freeway as a senior in high school.

Gholston walked to the nearest gas station that is at Eight Mile and Greenfield and didn't have any money.

Mohamed Gabasha was working that night and gave Gholston a container of gas and drove him back to his car.

Never did Gabasha expect for Gholston to show back up to the gas station five years later. Not only did Gholston return, but he gave Gabasha a crisp $100 bill.

According to TampaBay.com, Gabasha was amazed that Gholston came back.

"It was amazing, how he actually came back," said Gabasha, who has helped other customers that way but has never had one come back to say thanks. "He just said 'Thank you for that day.' It was really, really nice."

Gabasha is also a booster of the Bucs star wide receiver Mike Evan, "I'm a big fan of (receiver Mike) Evans. He's going to be one of the best. I was so disappointed the Lions couldn't draft him."
