Holocaust Victims Remembered At Center In Suburban Detroit

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (AP) - The Holocaust Memorial Center in suburban Detroit has hosted an annual ceremony honoring the memory of the killing of 6 million Jews under Nazi German rule during World War II.

The museum in Farmington Hills held its Yom HaShoah Commemoration Day event Sunday afternoon.

The observance included the lighting of memorial candles and a reading of the names of some of those who died in the Holocaust.

The Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus opened in 1984.
