Sexy At 50: Sandra Bullock Takes The Crown As People Magazine's 'Most Beautiful Woman'

(WOMC) Think 50-year-olds aren't sexy? Think again.

Timeless beauty Sandra Bullock is on the cover of People Magazine's annual "Most Beautiful Women" edition, showing off her lush brunette locks, big smile, and ageless style.

According to People, the actress laughed when she heard that she had won the honor.

"No, really. I just said, 'That's ridiculous,' " she tells People. "I've told no one."

"This woman just gets better and better all the time," said editor Jess Cagle, according to the magazine.

The Oscar winner inherits the proverbial crown from actress Lupita Nyong'o.

She's had well-publicized relationship ups and downs, with allegedly cheating husband Jesse James, and relationships with Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Gosling.

But Bullock told the magazine the most beautiful thing in her life is her son, Louis, 5.

"I was putting him to bed and told him that even when I'm old and gray and more wrinkly than I am now, I'll still love him and want to tuck him in," she said to the magazine.

"And he asked why I have wrinkles, and I said, 'Well, I hope some of them are from laughing so much.' And he touched my face and said, 'You're not old, you're just happy.' "
