Muskegon Teen Adrianne Lewis Earns Fame For Tongue That Can Lick Her Eyeball

MUSKEGON (WWJ) "OK, I'm going to try this now ..." With those words, a Muskegon-area teen landed herself in a heap of You Tube fame by showing off her 4-inch-long tongue and using it to lick her eyeball.

"I don't like that trick," she says, shivering all over. "It's like you're licking your dog, if your dog had short hair. It's so weird!"

But lots of other people do like it, or at least fascinated by it. Adrianne Lewis, 18, is lapping up the attention from her YouTube following and says her next stop is getting her name in the Guinness Book of World Records. The current record is just shy of four inches.

So, how does Lewis have such a long, untethered tongue? She credits genetics, and adds that she was such a "weird kid" she probably just stretched her tongue out too much.

She can touch her nose, her chin, elbow, and eye.

Lewis says several members of her family have very long tongues. And while she and her family aren't thrilled with some of the negative attention and comments, Lewis' boyfriend says people need to "appreciate the person that's attached to the tongue."
